AROUND TOWN

Orlando Magazine just named St. Cloud one of its 2026 Great Neighborhoods. The July feature points to the lakefront, the pace, and prices that still beat most Orlando suburbs. Their word for it: hometown. We could've told them that.

The library wants your summer reading list. The St. Cloud Library is running an America250 reading challenge for all ages, 250 years of American stories for the country's 250th birthday.

Rivers Edge Academy is collecting school supplies through July 22. Drop something off for local students, then come back Thursday the 23rd from 4 to 6pm for ice cream and Italian ices.

LOCAL SPOTLIGHT

Island Cloud Grill
Island inspired plates and a full bar at 1122 Pennsylvania Ave, a block off the downtown strip. Breakfast on weekends, a kitchen that stays open late, and they hosted this week's local business networking night too.

DID YOU KNOW

This whole town started as a lottery ticket. In August 1909, Union veterans paid $50 in Atlantic City for a shot at a 25 by 150 foot lot in a brand new soldiers' colony. A year later there were 360 homes and about 2,000 residents. It's also why downtown streets are named after states, with the northern ones in the center of town.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Last week: the Soldier City Market's Saturday morning run, a domino showdown at Crust & Crumb, and pilates with kittens downtown. Read it here.

Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months

That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.

Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.

Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.

New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.

Go enjoy your weekend, St. Cloud. We'll be back Thursday.
